After receiving an invitation to go and visit Professor Tillinghast at her residential home, you arrive to find no one home, on closer inspection you see a light on upstairs but still no answer. Worried that something may have happened to Professor Tillinghast, you broke in through a window and started the search for her, when you reached the hallway there was signs of a struggle where a vase lay broken on the floor. A scream rang through the building that seemed to resonate from the upstairs office. Once you'd found the key and gained entry you were confronted by members of an occult. After subduing them you sadly discovered the professor's body on the floor near a broken beaker, The label of which was destroyed but you could make out a few letters "Miska... Uni... Sc... Lab." Now you find your self continuing your investigation in the Miskatonic University Science Lab.
Find meaning in the stars
Make you way to the other end of the corridor. There is quite a bit of lore in this first corridor, first check Trophy Shelf A shelf full of trophies, all inscribed for the Miskatonic Astronomy Club. You wonder what sort of Astronomy event results in a trophy. to the left of where your characters start. There is also a double door behind where you started A Door This goes back to Administration. Continue down the corridor just after the Staircases These stairs lead to the Observatory, but we have nothing to do there for now on the right you'll see A Billboard The bulletin board includes a map of the first floor of the Science and Astronomy building, complete with a big red "You Are Here" arrow. On the left wall there is a bench, on top of which you'll find A File A Manila file folder. Looking inside, you spot what might be something useful. You have found a new item: Epinephrine Opposite there is A Notebook A note left on a bench a student sits on catches your eye. It Reads "I can't stop thinking about that queer old book with it's strange writing. Even holding it in my hands seems to drain my strength, as if it were some sort of vampire sucking away my energy. Where Professor Tillinghast caught me with it, she confiscated it at once. I haven't seen it since" Head towards Dr Whilhelmina Tillinghast office door, it has a plaque to the left of the door way and is the 3rd door on the left hand wall. Once near, your two investigators will discuss the locked door and Dr Norman Withers whose office is in close proximity. Before visiting De Withers, check out the book case to the right of his door, When I inspected it appeared as A Door This goes back to Administration. We already have the information we need. incorrectly. Go and talk to Dr Withers. Professor Agatha Crane and Dr Withers will be talking, Withers shows his despair of These constant intrusions by reporters, police, and garden-variety busybodies. You finally however, convince him that you are trying to look into Professor Tillinghast's mysterious death. Agatha Crane will then join your investigation prompting you to check the observatory for clues.
On the right hand wall of Dr Withers office you'll find A File Cabinet The file cabinet is open. Inside, you find something interesting. You have found a new item Bullets Before you leave Dr Withers office have a quick look around, inspect Professor Withers Professor Norman Withers stands before you, puffing his cheeks impatiently. "I know you wish to search the observatory, but for the life of me I can't imagine what you expect to find there." Over by the window you'll find A Telescope A small telescope pointed out a window. Peering through it, you must look away from the bright light of the sun. No doubt the view is better at night. Leave Dr Wither's office, turning right as you go through the door. Continue down to the end of the corridor, on the left there is a set of stairs that leads upto the observatory.
Professor Tillinghast will give you a quick introduction to the observatory before you are able to search for clues, once she's finished search the middle locker behind where your character is standing.
Complex Interaction After locating the locker labelled "Prof. Withers," you find it locked tight
Lockpick, Break the door or Force Lock.

Picking the lock and after applying a little elbow grease and opening the locker, you find a box inside. Written in neat letters on a label is the name "Professor Tillinghast." Item found: Tillinghast's box.
Your investigators will discuss the box and it's contents as well as the occult symbol you saw when you found Tillinghast's body, this will prompt you to return to Norman Withers in the hope he can help.
To the right of the door you'll find A Bookcase A bookcase in need of tidying, you have found a new item: Pipe Wrench while at the other end of the room on the Desk So much clutter fills this desk that it might take a while to find a needle in this proverbial haystack. You decide to open a small top drawer. You should be so lucky! You have found a new item: Book of Restrain, Agatha will inform you that book is a or book of spells, Insisting you must see if the spells work. Before leaving the observatory go to the middle of the railing to have a better look at the Telescope Once the pride of the Miskatonic University Astronomy Department, this outdated telescope hasn't seen much use in recent years. You've gained all you can from the observatory it's time to go back down stairs and see if Dr Withers will help given the new information gathered.
Look here, Norman. See the odd things in this box of Wilhelmina's? Whatever she was researching, it was far more than that comet.
Your team will point out to Dr Withers that you found the same sign that's on the box in the room that she was murdered, persuading Wither to help with your investigation. He'll tell you that after a wekk without hearing from Tillinghast he grew worried and checked her office for anything that may be of use, only finding her notes that he couldn't make sense of. He'll give you Wilhelmina's Office Key then your conversation will be cut short by a noise coming from Tillinghast's office. Continue your search next door in Professor Tillinghast's Office as you approach the Door Engraved in brass on a plaque beside the door is the name "Professor Tillinghast." The door is slightly ajar. Open it and go inside to find the room ransacked, as you enter you'll hear panic outside the door as shadows rush the window of the door in fear. Have a quick look around the room and you'll find A Bookcase You find a book by the notorious occultist Aleister Crowley, entitled A Treatise on Astrologoy. on the left hand wall. Look over her desk to find Notebooks A series of notes written in Professor Tillinghast's distinctive hand. They appear to be nothing more than observations on her students, which she apparently liked to pair off like a matchmaker. While amusing, the notes don't appear useful to your investigation. You feel at peace: +1 Sanity Gain. On the right hand wall you'll find Tillinghast's open Safe The safe in Professor Tillinghast's office has been forced open, presumably by the same culprit who ransacked the place. There's nothing left inside the safe. On the same wall as the doorway you'll also find A Painting You see Edward Hopper's painting "House by the railroad." Its stark vertical and horizontal lines, as well as its striking colour palette, seem unsettling in this context. Prepare yourself for combat and leave Tillinghast's office.
In the corridor you'll find two corridor occultist both wielding knifes, your investigators will face a sanity check before the combat begins.
With the occultists dead you'll hear a scream from a nearby corridor, prompting another sanity check. Move through the double doors and into the next corridor. There is A Door This door leads to a different department in the university. You wouldn't find anything concerning the Professor Tillinghast there. on your left as you enter. Opposite those double doors is another Door The plaque says it's the door to the Science Lab, but it's locked. Start walking down the corridor and your investigators will be drawn to a door that they believe the scream came from, Wilhelmina's Classroom. You'' speak to some students through the closed door that believe the strange people ran further down the corridor. Next to the classroom door there is A Poster A bulletin board filled with flyers for university activities, including an announcement for an upcoming home game for the Miskatonic Squids, over which someone has scrawled, "Go 'Pods!" Opposite the classroom door there is a small trashcan next to a bench.

In thanks for your help, he gives you a gift. You have found a new item: Medical Book. On the bench opposite of the student you've just rescued, you will find a newspaper that contains A Newspaper Article From the Arkham Gazette: BODY VANISHES FROM CEMETERY By Gerard White. The Arkham Gazette has learned that a body disappeared from the city cemetery early this morning. Police have questioned a man found on the scene, believing him to be a witnes and perhaps an employee of the cemetery. More information to come as the story unfolds. Prompting a sanity check. Moving further down the corridor Agatha will see another student on the floor, asking if they're hurt. He'll tell you some men pushed him down onto the way into the classroom behind him, prompting another sanity check. To the left of the student on the floor there is A File Cabinet The file cabinet is open. Inside you find something interesting. You have found a new item: Bandages (Filthy) To the left of the file cabinet is another set of Staircases These stairs lead to the Marine Biology Department. That's far from Professor Tillinghast's specialization. Ready up for another battle and head inside the classroom behind the student on the floor.

As you enter the lecture hall you will be confronted by another 3 enemies, 2 unarmed and one armed with a pistol, your team will be faced with another sanity check. Prioritise the one with the gun and when you've finished them off search their bodies.

I saw her look through the books in the third bookcase from the back if the library, the one with all the dictionaries and encyclopedias. She seemed impatient for results. If only she'd let me help!"
I've composed a list of everything we found out from this classroom regarding the book in the library.- Large yellow book
