What happened last time

Fran found her self deep in the forest searching for Mr Midnight. She came across a giant inspect that Fran believed had eaten Mr Midnight, however after opening up the Beetlepig it turned out to be a Rat. That rat led you to where he'd last seen a black cat, It was a magical well that you finally accessed before becoming unconscious.

Walkthrough

After the end of Chapter 2 Part I you wake up in a kitchen lying in a cat basket, with knit wear on your head that closely resembles your cat Mr Midnight. Have a look through the pink cupboard on the right, paying particular attention to the Cauldron then close the window to remove a draft (this will come in handy much later). With the windows closed turn your attention to the pink shelf to the left of the cooker. Take the Baking Powder and the Knife. Explore further into the kitchen off to the left, note the Matches the table next to the flowers. Have a rummage through the pink spice race removing the Salt and Pepper. The Salt and Pepper form one item when added to the inventory Salt & Pepper Still on the spice rack open the draw of the little white and green storage box. It will contain a Rare Seed, you are now done with the spice rack. Turn the faucet on and fill the Cauldron with water, giving you the Filled Pot. Keep exploring through the rest of the house to the left.
To get the It tasted fabulous! achievement, you need to try some of the cakes on the table. Click the cup cakes and the chocolate cake a few times and you'll get the achievement.Take a look at the blue picture closest to the door that you came in through, it's a clue for later on. You also need the Vase with ashes from next to the fireplace. Climb the stairs and you'll end up on the landing, grab the Broom from the corner before opening the draws finding Black Candles inside.

From the land go through to the bedroom on the left, Fran will be presented with a weird scene given we are not in the Ultrareality. Take the Tweezers from the dresser, and have a look at the mirror in the corner note the keyhole in the top of it. Proceed back onto the landing and pull the chain to the loft lowering the ladders. Climb up the ladders entering the loft. It's quite dark up here but there is a light at the back. Have a look inside the stroller that moved when the light come on and turn you attention to the cage.You can get the Hello dolly! achievement when you find your way back into the attic. Inspect the pram on your return and you will unlock this achievement.Mr Midnight will be underneath the blanket, talk to him and go back downstairs to the dining room. Fran will be confronted by twins for the first time, they'll ask Fran to perform a ritual and hand her a Spell (Summon the old last body) before disappearing to get the ingredients.

Go back into the kitchen and a familiar face will be in the window, he'll duck out leaving the window open. Exit the house through the open window putting Fran on the shore line. Grab the Long Woody Plank from the broken pier and speak to the toad. He'll explain that he's trapped here like you and not to trust the twins. After finishing your conversation with him speak to him again and he'll give you a clue on how to proceed. Place the Rare Seed on the reflection of the moon in the water, wait a second and it will grow into a Blue Rose. Now take the Duotine and the window and toad will disappear, leaving a message on the wall Doubters need the truth on paper. This will serve as an important clue later on.
Place the lid back on the Duotine and climb back into the kitchen. Take a Duotine again to go to the Ultrareality Fran will find her self at the bottom of a well. Climb up the walls of the well, using the bricks that are sticking out. You have to click on each individual brick in order to scale the wall. Once at the top use the Long Woody Plank to bridge the gap between the last two stones. DON'T use the Knife to cut the rope, use the Matches instead. This gets you the I burn you! achievementAs I said above use the Matches to burn through the rope, dropping the bottle to the bottom of the well. Climb back down the bricks and reach to pick up the bottle. A frog will leap out of the water swallowing it before dropping back below the surface. A few moments later, the frog will float back to the surface his stomach bursting open leaving the bottle exposed. Using the Tweezers take the Spell (Revealing the true soul) from inside the bottle.
Put the cap back on the Duotine to return the house. Fran can now start preparing for the Spell (Revealing the true soul) with each item you get it will highlight it on the Spell (Revealing the true soul). Most of the items at this point will be crossed off, however you still need to get Blood from the executer of the ritual, you can use the Knife on Fran to acquire this as well as creating the Bloody Knife. Go back toward the hob and we'll continue with the list. Light the hob using the Matches.Make sure the window is closed else the match will blow out Boil the Filled Pot on the burning hob, and add place the Blue Rose, Salt & Pepper, and finally the Blood from the executer of the ritual inside. Use the Vase with ashes on the black and white squares on the floor and place the Black Candles around the pentagram, lighting them with the Matches.

There only one thing left to acquire and we'll need the twins in order to get that. Explore the final room of the house on the ground floor on the far left. Fran needs to convince the twins that there hair is needed for the ritual to work, Remember the clue outside that said Doubters need the truth on paper, well we're are going to use the typewriter to forge the Spell (Summon the old last body) so we can get the last item on our list. Place the Spell (Summon the old last body) in the typewriter and Fran will doctor it Tampered bad recipe. Return to the kitchen near the sink and the twins will be waiting for you. They'll give you the ingredients for there ritual and then leave the room. The toad will jump through the window grabbing the bag before you have chance to collect it. Follow the girls into the dining room and hand them your Tampered Bad Recipe. Explain there is a missing item from the list and that they should Look for yourself!
They will then hand Fran the Hair from the twins completing our ingredients. Go back to where you've set up the ritual and throw the Hair from the twins into the Filled Pot. The pot will pop telling you that the Potion is ready, retrieve it and head back to the girls in the Dining room. Use the Potion on the girls and they'll make there way to the ritual. Follow them there and poor the Potion on them while they are knelt on the floor. After Fran has performed the ritual they'll float away leaving the Golden Key behind. Take it with you upstairs to the bedroom to use the Golden Key on the mirror. You'll have to solve the puzzle to continue, It should look like the picture below when you are finished.

With the puzzle solved the mirror will break, click in the top half of the mirror and you'll find a note from the two sister's giving you an insight into what happened. Grab the Cage Key and return to Mr Midnight.Don't forget to check in the stroller again to get the Hello dolly! achievement.Use the Cage Key on the cage that holds Mr Midnight. Freeing Mr Midnight will give you the Find Mr. Midnight! achievement Head back toward the shoreline, through the window in the kitcen and speak to the Toad. Ask him to Help us out of here!.
He'll reject it saying there is nothing he can do to help you. Hand him the Baking Powder, it will make him grow and after another quick conversation you can leave the island. The Toad will hand Fran her Family Photo and a Mysterious Book.There's another quick mini game, that's very similar to the old frogger game. If you complete it you will get the Toad on board! achievement. You could always skip it thoughWith the minigame complete/skipped you'll arrive on the shore. Toad will say his goodbyes and you should head further in land. You'll get to a bridge that Fran is reluctant to cross after some persuasion from Mr Midnight. cross the bridge and keep moving until the end. A short video will play out and you'll then be in control of Mr Midnight. Move the dress that's covering the tree and you'll see that the tree has a face, Talk to it to discover it's Fran. After a long conversation a flying boat will appear and a Carrot person will get out and start jabbing Fran with a spear, Fran will eventually ask Mr Midnight to go and find her Purse. Explore over to the right and you'll arrive at the water side. Gather the white Crystal from the floor and then go and turn the lever. Once the bridge is expanded drop the Crystal into the cogs, this will stop the bridge retracting. You can now go and fetch the Purse. Return to Fran handing the Family Photo from the purse to the Carrot with the stick. He'll drag Fran onto his boat and after a quick conversation you will have completed Fran Bow Chapter 2 Part II.
