Famished Feline
You fed the cat in Jack's apartment.Find the tie clip
On the table in the center of the room you will find Marianne's diary. Head away from the window to the other side of the room and exit using the double white doors. As you get into the hallway a cat will hiss at Marianne and then walk off to a room at the end of the corridor, follow the cat through the last door on the left.
This is Jack's room, On the table under window you will find a picture frame of Marianne and Jack. The cat will be sat on the couch to the right with pictures that you can also inspect above.On the left hand wall there is a display of his medals inspect them. You'll notice a box to the right of the clock. Open up the box and Jack's Tie Clip must have been placed elsewhere. The game will prompt you to use Insight a skill where Marianne can see items of importance. As you activate Insight, a white outline will appear near the clock. Move the clock out of the way revealing the Jack's Tie Clip. You can also inspect the medals on the wall above the sideboard.
Leave the room back to the hallway,
Use the double doors at the end of the corridor to explore Marianne's room. On the left hand wall you'll find a collection of Marianne's old obsession, butterflies. While on the desk near the window will be a picture frame from the orphanage. The dresser on the right wall contains a letter from Zofia Kania, Marianne's primary school principle (Primary school no.VII). As well as a ICU admission card from when Marianne was 3 years old, suffering from Second-degree burns. You can now leave the room with nothing else to explore. Come towards the camera heading back to the living room and take Marianne's left.
Take the first door on the right, When you're inside the kitchen there is a newspaper on the table to the right. Continue through the kitchen to a dark room at the rear. There is a dipping tray close to the camera that you can use to develop photographs. An instruction guide to developing photos can be found on the back wall.
- Illuminate photo for 5 seconds
- Dip in MULTIGRADE for 3 seconds
- Dip in STOP for 3 seconds
- Dip in FIXER for 3 seconds
Take the Photo Paper from the pile on the right and place it on the slab below the light. Switch the light on and wait till you hear 5 clicks, then turn the light off and grab the Illuminated Photo. Now place the Illuminated Photo in the tray closest to the light, count 3 seconds in you head, remove the Paper and put it in the next tray on the left. Repeat until all three trays have been used. You will end up with a Photo of Jack.Leave the dark room and exit the kitchen.
Before you leave the apartment make sure to take the first door on the right here, Grab the Cat food from the counter top and place it in the cat bowl near the door. This will unlock the Famished Feline achievementLeave the apartment using the door on the left, this leads to a hallway where Marianne explain that her and Jack lived upstairs from Jack's funeral home. Take the door at the end of the small corridor and follow the walkway round to the left until you get to a small room. Walk away from the window, down the stairs and through door out into the courtyard. Go through the brown, open, double doors in the corner of the courtyard.
There is plaque for The Last Goodbye Funeral Home to the right of those door's that can be inspected. Once through those doors
make sure to explore further down the corridor before entering The Last Goodbye funeral home. About half way down the corridor you will find some graffiti on the left wall that reads Need 2 Get Out, The Last Goodbye funeral home is the first door on the right, Enter the funeral home using the
Funeral Home Key from your inventory.
Follow the corridor to the back and try the door to the prep room on Marianne's right. This door will be locked and you'll need to find the key, Go through the open doorway on the right closest to the right edge of the camera. Look amongst the items on Jacks desk and you'll see the
Prep Room Key in the center of the black book.
Make sure to look at the photo and the note on his desk too. When you leave the desk also pay attention to the cross on the back wall below the tree. Use the
Prep Room Key to unlock the Prep Room follow the stairs down to the basement and through the final door where Jack's body is stored. Head towards the other side of the room and open the drawer when given the prompt. Inside you'll find Jack's body, drag the draw open. Walk around to the side of Jack to take a closer look at the body, use
Jack's Tie Clip and Marianne will notice that the tie is missing. Come away from Jack and the tie is behind Marianne on a stool.
Put Jack's Tie Clip on Jack's Tie giving Marianne Jack's Tie with the Clip, go back to Jack and and dress him in Jack's Tie with the Clip. Marianne will fit Jack's tie and cover him back with the sheet and sliding the draw back in place. Once she closes the door she will hear some strange sounds upstairs and the lights will flicker.
Check upstairs
Leave the morgue and head back upstairs to the funeral homes office and the door will slam shut before you can enter. Open the door and proceed through this time exploring the far end of the room, You'll find an urn has fallen off the shelf and broken on the floor, take a closer look and Marianne will experience the Spirit world. A split screen effect that will show the real world and the spirit world side by side. Jack will be sat at a desk in the spirit world looking for his notebook.
After a short heart felt conversation with Jack the phone begins to ring. A mysterious voice will make him self known as Thomas and will then ask Marianne to help him. Marianne isn't interested and tries to end the call short a few times until a simple yet powerful statement It all starts with a dead girl. He then insists Marianne goes to The Niwa Resort.
